Sipsey
Wilderness and Sipsey Fork River in Bankhead National Forest are two of the
most beautiful retreats in Alabama. The quality of the water and colors of
the Spring and Fall seasons are second to none. This area is known as the
land of 1,000 waterfalls and, with picturesque campsites running along
abundant falls, it does not disappoint in that respect. This expedition is
a class 1-II overnight canoe camping adventure. Due to the fact this is a
rainfall dependant run, you need to be ready to go when wet weather
permits. There will be a scheduled date, however, this could change based
on water levels.
